This Blog opens a discussion on what are the most urgent Use Cases for proving how to integrate successfully the many pieces of a well functioning, secure, affordable and sustainable Energy System. We assume that the recently announced European Green Deal and its legislation is the basis for these integration Use Cases. This blog is not about the internals of the “energy and power devices” of the future Energy System (energy and power devices such as PV panels, Wind and hydro generators, Batteries, Heat Storage, Hydrogen conversion and storage, electricity distribution lines, voltage transformers, power electronics, etc) themselves. The Blog proposes a first set of Use Cases which are to be commented and be refined by you, but moderated by the Blog moderator.
The blog is done with the goal to increase public knowledge about energy system integration needs. Moderated contents are fully open to the public. Outcomes could flow into ongoing R&I innovation and supporting projects.
